Oh, the nostalgia.

So I have come full circle with blogging, and am still obsessed, but now am a Tumblr addict. My link (if anyone ever reads this) is llizabell.tumblr.com.

Also, as I randomly signed in to Blogspot in hopes of finding an old poem that I wrote, I just really started to get freaked out. The last time I wrote was March 2011. That really wasn't that long ago, but the abundance of events that have happened in my life, and how drastically distant my life then feels from my life now blows my mind.

I have added two new best friends to my bunch of amazing people that I'm surrounded by. As Thanksgiving was just last week, I keep getting swept off my feet with thankfulness when I think about the people in my life. Although balancing old friends and new ones can feel like a constant struggle, the fact, in the first place, that I even have to worry about that is a sign of how greatly I am blessed and is nothing to complain about at all.

I always feel a sense of passion and deep thought as the holidays approach. Not a sadness, just a kind of nostalgia. I'm a senior now, and am almost half way through with the school year. How strange it is to think that in not long at all, my life will be taking such violent twists and turns of change. My life now will most likely feel like a distant memory just the same.

I'm so not ready to say goodbye to people that I feel like I've finally connected with. I recently shared a conversation with my brother, and he was saying how family and maybe a few friends are all you really have after having been in college for 3 years. I found that quite unsettling. I don't want to have to pick who I'll stay close to. I don't want to leave. Not just yet.

As far as how my life is going, I suppose it's pretty nice. With Christmastime just around the corner, I'm already feeling the excitement and coziness of the season. As I said before, I adore my friends. Classes are just whatever, nowhere near the hell of Calculus. I have a huge senior project that I should be getting started on and a thousand college application essays still to do. Love life, as always, is confusing. I am, as always, a mix of hopeful and pessimistic (or some other word that I can't find in my vocabulary for how I'm feeling). I'm scared to get attached to things right before I leave. But I have decided that fear for what the future brings, even if it may be hurt and not fun feelings, is nothing to be consumed by or to let control your decisions.

I wish to let go of deciding, and choosing, and worrying, and picking, and endings. All things that are quickly approaching me. I wish to just soak in these last few moments of normalcy and home, and let things take me where they may.

P.S.

I just fell in love with dubstep.

Monday, February 28, 2011

I've had such the refreshing night-- I love how He can do that to me. He refreshes and quenches my every desire and need, yet makes me so deeply want more, so thirsty for more of His peace that I am so unworthy of but need more than the very air I'm breathing. I fell in love with so much Scripture tonight, and was reminded of how deep and beautiful the Word is. His love letters to me are so personal, and even though I can't wrap my head around 99% of what's there, He reveals Himself through things I can't even begin to comprehend. I am absolutely awestruck at His grace for me, but also am shocked at how misunderstood God is in our world today. The more I read, the more I am overwhelmed with how much wisdom and truth I find. Ephesians 2:1-6

"As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved."

Everyone, EVERYONE, is so sinful, selfish, and unworthy by nature. We are all filthy insignificant beings by ourselves. To God's scale, nothing we can do, say, or try to be can earn us salvation or could ever be good enough to achieve righteousness. But because of the love He has shown for us, because of what He did on the cross, we are reconciled with our Creator- reunited with the One who chases after us day after day and finds value in us, beauty in our ashes. For even when we were the farthest away from God, stuck in the nastiness of this hateful, judgmental, world, He "made us alive with Christ." It is by grace that God has renewed us and continues renewing me tonight. I am so in awe of His greatness.

I feel like I just need to stop trying, stop being something that I am not, stop trying to do be so "good." By gratitude, thankfulness, and praise only should I should serve and do good works, not to earn something in return from God. Ephesians 2:8-10 goes on to say, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Grace is God's unconditional, "no matter what," undeserved gift to me.

I'll stop preaching.
Sincerely,
Liz.

Holy BuhJesus.

I find it funny that every time I randomly think, "Oh, let's go look at Blogspot," I always do the same exact thing.

1) I laugh at myself.
2) I find the very strange need write a new post.

So, here I am. Randomly popping in. It's been too long! (In a British accent.) Hahh

Life, is.. usual. No guys. Doing okay in school. May get my first B. Don't judge me. Ashley & Amy are still my freaking homegirls. Family's good, although both my parents are out of town at the moment. Mom gets home any second, dad's in India, and my brother goes back to college tomorrow. So, even though everyone's moving and chaotic, I'm just kind of chilling at home. We've been out of school ALL WEEK for snow. That mixed with exam stuff is quite confusing. LOVE my church peeeeps. But I feel like everyone is leaving. I miss Mission Zero like crazy. Cause 6000 did surprisingly well, and He didn't disappoint, once again. We were in the paper last week? Hahh. HAD A MEETING FOR GHANA THIS SUMMER! Wooooohoo. Can't freaking wait, and need to get started on my application business and the 50 billion shots in each arm I have to get. I got an amazing camera for Christmas, which I LOVEEEEE, and haven't been taking as many pictures as I thought I would, which is depressing. But I'm going to start spazzing out soon, I promised myself. Here's a random list of things I want to photograph soon:

- the little yellow mailbox down the road
- the house/shack thing up the road
- peoplepeoplepeople!
- some more eyes.. (I used to have an obsession with taking photos of eyes, and I miss it.)
- memorable moments

I CAN'T WAIT FOR LADY GAGA'S NEW SINGLE/ALBUM! Her creativity and individuality fascinates me. Also looking forward to Bieber's movie Never Say Never. Heck yes! And of course, even more than these things, X1003403466752367232677842654129483939, I'm looking forward to the season premiere of SKINS! I'm almost through with the first season of the UK's version of the show, and I cannnnnnnot wait. I'm also excited for a new semester, a fresh start.

I hope to be challenged spiritually, emotionally, socially, & mentally this year. See you next random time I check in on good ol' Blogspot. Maybe some more poetry soon?

Liz.

When My Feet Travel

Stained and battered,
Fallen again,
Again.

With no worth,
My heart yearns for something more.

I stumble and crash,
Bruises only visible to a King.

Love and compassion,
Wrap their arms around me.

When running into my mess,
I couldn't help but find Your grace.

Rescuing such a lost and wounded soul,
You breathe life into my lungs,
And meaning into my being.

When my feet travel far away from You,
And my heart resists your love,

I glance over my shoulder,
and look past my pride.

Only to find my Savior,
Chasing His pride & joy.

Is it just me?

Is it just me, or is everyone else also starting to believe those "crazy preachers" who have been preaching of the end of the world & the revelation for the past few years?

Another earthquake hit Chile today, with even greater magnitude than the recent one in Haiti.

This is really starting to freak me out.

Just sayin'.

Focusing on who I am instead of what I want to do/who I want to be with.

Just sayin'.

Liz.

New Found Loves.

I'm obsessed with the song "Something's Got to Change" by Josh Wilson. I give props to Ashley for finding it, and sharing it with me the other day. The lyrics are moving, and filled with so much truth. I encourage anyone to look them up and read them while listening.

I'm really thrilled for a weekend away from this town coming up. Me, my mother, and Ashley are going up to West Virginia to stay at my amazing aunt's house. The original reason was to get a chair from my grandfather that is being used to furnish my brother's future apartment. But, my mom had the idea of making it a road trip. Amy was supposed to come too, but she can't. :| Which sucks, really bad. But I'm still excited.

Tons of drama has consumed me lately. And weighed me down. I really hope God takes this situation and makes the best out of it. The end.

I started reading Dear John tonight. I saw many Facebook statuses along the lines of "Can't put this book down," and decided to try the book out since my mom is a crazy Nicholas Sparks fan and already has all of his books. It's pretty addicting, which is a quality that has to exist in books for me to stick with them.

I LOVE the store American Apparel. Me, Amy, and my mom went to Southpark Mall to shop today. It was a fuckload of fun. Excuse my language, but I had to. Anyways, the store is simply amazing, and I purchased some snazzy new patterned leggings that I'm in love with.
Delia's, Locaste, Urban Outfitters, Anthropology, etc. So many amazing stores that are out of my price range in that mall. Yay for that.
Another yay for good pasta & cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory.

Another new found love of mine: the MTV show The Buried Life. I watched the season premeire one and a half times the other night. I'm addicted and wish it came on more than once a week. My Life as Liz was also catchy, but confusing as to whether or not it's real? Help.

I'm falling for a guy. Which is inevitably not normal at all for me. But he's really amazing, treats me like I'm different than other girls, and has a love for Christ that makes me want to be a better person. I don't know how all of it will turn out, but I hope I don't ruin it with my pessimistic instincts. I'm not letting myself talk myself out of this one, because this is an opportunity that can not be passed, and I have a weird feeling we have something special.

Listen to Your Heart, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, I Will Always Love You, & The Lion Sleeps Tonight are some other old songs that I'm hooked on right now. Just sayin'.

Sincerely,
Liz.

You.

You are all that I live for.
The very thing I search for, breathe for, strive for.
The smile you bring to my heart does not fade.
In a scorching nightmare you bring my soul shade.
You are rest, peace, light in the darkest place.
At my very best you humble me,
And at my very worst you lift me up.
When I can go no longer,
You change my direction.
You are perfection.
Your selection,
Never fails me.
You shield me,
Guide me,
Hold me,
Shine everlasting truth into my life.
When I cry out you answer,
When guilt drags me to the ground,
You give me wings to fly.
I am free.
When I'm with you.
You are all that I live for.
The very thing I search for, breathe for, strive for.
You are a sweet melody,
A gorgeous tune.
As a hopeless sinner I come before you,
As a washed clean warrior I leave.
I never can not be changed in your presence.
I never can not be moved with your blessings.
All that you are can not be written,
All that you do can not be explained,
The way that you move,
Can't be put into words.
The lost don't understand,
None can comprehend.
You.
Are all that I live for.
The very thing I search for, breathe for, strive for.

Why, hello.

I haven't done this since October. I'm frankly a little embarrassed that I was ever obsessed with these. Computer Apps 1 boredom got the best of me, okay? But right now, I'm insanely bored & need something to do as an excuse to not start packing. We leave for Evansville, Indiana tomorrow. My dad's parents live there, and I haven't seen them since June. But I'm honestly dreading going. We always eat meatloaf cooked in water, play so many board/card games you will want to commit suicide, and this is the worst part, so get ready for it. They're carpet is, literally, the color of PUKE. Me and my mother always make fun of it. Wow, we're bad people.

Anyways? I don't feel like talking about all that has happened since October, and can hardly remember, or even giving highlights. So, I'm just going to say how my life is, as of now.

I'm single. Big surprise, I know. Kidding. I've kind of found a guy that's absolutely perfect. There are a few complications, but I think it's all going to work out. I just need to tell myself that friends are a million times more important than guys, no matter how perfect the guy is. Which is extremely, in this case. Ugh. :| But ANYWAYS, at least it's more exciting than my usually DULL love life. Yay for that?

OH. One new thing in my life, is my involvement in my youth program at my church. I go to Journey every chance I get, and IT. I feel like I belong there, which is an amazing feeling. Having a great place to go to worship God & be with others who want to be closer to Him is spectacular.

It's the end of 2009. WOW. I feel like just two seconds ago I was blogging about the end of 2008, on Myspace I think. (Which, by the way, I'm a Facebook gooroo now. Sorry Myspace. I had to move on.) Every year passes like the blink of an eye, which sounds extremely cliche to say. But it's the honest truth. I've met some amazing people, continued relationships with even more amazing people, and made memories that will last me forever & a day. I don't want this to be a blog about the year ending, because I will get carried away, ramble, and type until it's midnight. But, even though the years are flying by, I'm enjoying this passage of time, in every stage of life. <3

Yesterday was Christmas, which was magical, as always. On Christmas Eve, which is also my brother's birthday, we (as in my family, Allison, Christopher, & their dad) went skiing at Sugar. It was fun and exhausting, and just enough to make us want to fall asleep while opening our traditional "Christmas PJ's" when we got home. We slept soundly, and did Christmas in the basement this year, which was cozy. We had a fire in the fireplace, one of my favorite things ever. My "big" thing this year was a new TV for my room, which was definitely something I needed. Farewell to my little white TV that I've had since my 1st grade arts & crafts birthday party in my garage at my old house in Hidden Creek. I had all the keys on my remote memorized. BUT, although it's sad to depart, my new FLAT SCREEN fancy TV is amazing. I'm going to watch "Away We Go" on it tonight, which was one of my stocking stuffers that I have yet to see, even though I have to wake up insanely early to get in the car for a lovely 9 our drive. WOO. :D Amy spent the night last night. I know it was Christmas and all, but after around 6:00 when we had our dinner, we were done with our festivities and my parents didn't mind. And neither did Aims'. So, we had a night of laughs. "Goodnight my Japanese warrior, Ezum." Wow, maybe it was the spirit of Christmas that brought out Amy's hyperness of the days of 6th grade that I so dearly missed? Or maybe not. But I loved it.

So, I should probably start packing, considering it's almost 10:00, and I still want to watch a movie tonight.
Loved catching up & all. <3

Sincerely,
Liz.

special needs kids acting as janitors at lunch? comment/read.

woww. oh my goodness. it's been so long, and so much has happened, since i blogged last.

i don't even remember every weekend since then? so umm. i guess i'll just list some highlights/updates.
  • me, ashley, my grandma (nanny), & my mom went to blowing rock in the rain, ate kilwin's, ate more, shopped some, and laughed the most i've laughed in one day..ever.
  • HAH i went to ashley's neighborhood party last weekend, we had some fun. <--definitely a night i'll never forget. ;) :X :O
  • i read & finished the count of monte cristo in english class! hah. i sound like a nerd for putting this on here, but it's actually a good book. and having to read like 70 pages every two nights makes you think about it all the time. haha.
  • as for guys, i don't like who i thought i did. just got a bad vibe from him, even though it may be in my head. :|
  • have so many guys i flirt with. and i like it that way. :) if something more comes out of that, then so be it. but i'm more happy single, than i've been in a while.
  • started a new project in art. i'm drawing this dog/coyote thing. mine SUCKS. hahahaha. whatevs.
  • i think i may be pulling up my grade in english? score. but tomorrow will most likely ruin that, since we have a HUGE test on the count that i have yet to study for (at ten thirty the night before). haha.
  • mom went to vegas AGAIN. me & dad had fun chilling, driving around, going out to eat, and watching movies in the basement, as usual. <3
  • going to church with amy sometime last week made me realize how much i need Christ back in my life. i have him in my heart, no doubt, but i miss the strong relationship that i've felt before. :/
ANDD by the way. amy brought this to my attention. and now i've noticed it & felt true sympathy about it since. okay, so special needs/E.C. kids clean up after us in the cafeteria every day. they wipe down the tables, take out trash & stuff, and mop/sweep. i think this is RIDICULOUS. they already feel out-of-it enough, why would you freaking make them be janitors at lunch? i think you'd try & make them feel as normal as possible. they are, after all, teenagers in high school too. even though they have learning disabilities or mental ones, they have personalities, social lives, friends, and feelings too. amy was saying that her sister, when she was in high school, asked the principal about it, & she had replied that these activities increased their skills so that, since they wouldn't probably be able to become things like lawyers, doctors, etc, they could at least have the abilities to get jobs such as janitors, & so forth. that is RIDICULOUS. that makes me so mad. i personally know 2 kids in the E.C. program, and they are hilarious and bring joy to my days. these two specific girls don't have to do the whole lunch-clean up thing. it's always the same ones every day. i don't know how they pick which kids? but umm. i think it's horrible. someone needs to do something about it, no lie. leave comments with what you think on it. some of my friends i've talked to about it agree with it, and think it's giving them something to do. tell me your opinion. :)

write sometime soon hopefullyyy?
sincerely,
liz.

another 'best weekend ever.'

i now have weird, strange, feelings for someone i never expected. ;) it's fun.

i am OVER a guy. thank goodness. hahahahahhahahaha and it makes me laugh.

anddddd. there are still two guys that i think are amazing, and they have no idea.

this weekend was GREATTT. haha, i went home with ashley, hung out with caleb & bryant, then went to the gameee. it was funnn. then i spent the night with her, then saturday. we...had some fun. hahahha. :X :O :)

wowww. hahah ANYWAYS! saturday night was a blast tooo.
i'm being very vague and stuff b/c amy's on her way to pick me up. we have to go get some stuff for a quick, last-minute twin day fixup! hahaha. because...

TOMORROW STARTS SPIRIT WEEEK! <3 which is prettty exciting. i think it goes:
monday-twin day.
tuesday-gender-bender day.
wednesday-sports day.
thursday-wacky tacky day.
friday-spirit day.
:D :D :D :D :D :D

i'm in a really "i love my life" kind of mood. even though it's not that great.
I'LL WRITE LATERRR.
sincerely,
liz.

jealousy.

so. today was like a closure day to me, in the best way possible. i'm done. i'm over it. i'm moving on. finally, and once and for all. hallelujiah that i heard just what i needed to hear to make it a done deal for me. thank goodness i'm no longer involved in something/with someone that would force me to change my morals to please this person. i thought i had more respect for him than he actually deserves from me. i care about him and will be there for him, but am SO glad that i now know his true intentions, and what really matters to him. if he truly cared about me, he wouldn't want to change me. goodbye. new chapter in this part of my life. :)

i know that made absolutely no sense to many of the ones reading, but hey. that doesn't matter. it felt good to say. so thanks, blogger, for listening. bahah, i'm pathetic.

ANYWHO.
today had a lot of exciting events. the top paragraph pretty much sums up one of them. another one, was that i got bitched out just for trying to stick up for my friend. hahaha. it makes me laugh that someone would be so insecure about themselves and so pathetic that they'd have to sit there & talk about people and say that they wish that person was dead. you just don't wish that on people. how immature, if only knew what she was actually saying.

other events of the day..civics, we played review games. art, we had a sub & we drew. (WOW, what a surprise! ha.) english, we had a sub & read and answered questions. spanish, we had a quiz & did arts and crafts pointless stuff.
boring day over all, in the "classes" category.

lunch is now not enjoyable really. i'm getting so close to bethany, because we walk from class to class together & talk about everything under the sun, and i sit at lunch with her. :) since ashley, sterling, hayden, zach, all themm..think they're so cool and don't want to talk to us even? haha. soooo. me her & luke and logan moretz have fun by ourselves. idk why that pisses me off so bad. but it does. they think they're so cool. whatever. haha.

SOOOOO. so many feelings/emotions in one day. tomorrow, is friday! hallelujiah. i'm going home with ashley, hanging out with caleb & bryant i think :D, going to the game YAYAYAY, then spending the night with ashersss. then saturday, i think we're going to nick's house, hahaha. so i'm pretty excited to meet him. then i'm spending the night sat. night AGAIN with ashley. hahaha, this is going to be such a fun weekend. i can't wait. <3333 :)

sincerely,
liz.

P.S. as you can see, i've changed my blog title, and my closing thing. i thought it sounded neat. i'm a loser.

tests galore.

so, LABOR day was good. (in my last post, i accidentally put memorial day, shut up)

me & my dad went to the lake with the jarretts. i ended up not tubing, because i didn't feel like getting KILLED. haha. and i'm a wimp. oh well. but it was fun riding in the boat and all that jaz.

today was a pretty good day too. i LOVE my classes this semester. like, i don't mind school at all really, besides the waking up early part. tomorrow i have 3 tests. :/ an art test, which should be easy. a les mis big test that i'm probably going to fail considering i forget everything from there, and a spanish test, which should be okay, at least.

i found out some of that news tonight where the person tells you, then says, "but you can't say ANYTHING!" haha. i hate that. :(

oh and BTW. i HATEE when people over-analyze things like texts and stuff. like no shut up, i just said it because i felt like it. it didn't mean anything. haha.

randommmm, i know. $#%!^!

God's good.

SO. lots to catch up on. i've had a busy past couple of days. amazing, but busy. :)

thursday was school, ashley's house, jv game at home (where brian morrissette made me pee my pants almost), & home. pretty good day, i'd say.

friday, school, home for a second, went to see time traveler's wife with amy, ashley & her mom, then went to the game at west lincoln, then went to meredith's for the night! fun day.

saturday, i came home from meredith's, ate lunch, went to bojangles with my brother (who decided to come home again this weekend), then me and my dad randomly decided to drive up to blowing rock, which was amazinggg. we ate at kilwin's ice cream, which has the BEST ice cream ever, then walked around and stuff. then we stopped off of the blue ridge parkway at this place called "rough ridge." it was only like a 10 minute walk up there. and me and my dad went out on this rock that was off-limits and got some AMAZINGLY pretty pictures. (like the one above) it goes down as one of the most amazing views i've ever seen. so pretty. God's good. :D

today, i went to church, went to ernie's to eat with my daddy, then we went to get some keys made at home depot, got a CUTE license plate that says life's good with a flower on it for my carrr, & went to best buy for some x-box controller? now i'm at home. i need to read the count of monte cristo (sp?) and & clean. so i better get off of here. it's been an AMAZING weekend.

tomorrow we're going to the lake for memorial day with the jarretts. so that should be fun. :)

today, i...

random thought- i can't stand dishonest people. not saying i'm not guilty of this ever, but those who know EXACTLY that what they're doing is hurting someone, yet continue doing it, DISGUST me.

ANYWAYS! on a lighter note, today was a good day. :) i love it being just me & my dad. my mom left at like 4 in the morning for the airport, to vegas. i mean, don't get me wrong, i'll miss my mommy, but hanging out just me & my dad is the coolest thing ever. we always go out driving (now in my NEW CAR! what whatttt.) and go out to eat somewhere, or watch movies. ha, it's fun.

so, back to today..i drove my car to school today. ha, obviously with my dad in there. but uh, i drove! ;) civics was great, as usual. in art, i had to tutor people. WHAT. i know, i'm not even good? and she assigned me 2 people to help draw shapes and stuff. and i had no idea how to help them? i was like..uhh andrew, you may wanna help these 2 also, because they're probably learning SQUAT from me. in english, we did grammar & vocab, then discussed more of les mis. then we started watching the movie, which i've already seen. YAY he postponed the test until like friday, or maybe tuesday. (considering we don't have school monday, because of labor day! SCORE.) then in spanish, it was boring as usual. but me and chris always laugh so hard in there. but the people sitting in front of us like NEVERRRRR shut up. i'm sorry, i mean, i know i like to talk in class & all, but mrs. iriarte doesn't even like try to shut them up, she just goes on teaching while they're just having a full conversation and all. UGH & neither me or chris can hear anything. we're going to tell the teacher to move us. ha, that sounds way kindergarden, but it realy is ridiculous. believe me. after school, i went home with jenn today. :) ha, we just chilled & watched tv and stuff. then i went to fuddruckers when my dad picked me up for dinner. since i got home, i've just been chilling. YAY i got my homework done at jenn's, because she's the kind of person who does it right when she gets home (which i, um, NEVER do.) hahaaaaa, so i don't have any.

that's a pretty good description of my day. as far as boys and such, i'm confused. :O so yeah.

writeeeeee soon.

my first car, etc.

random thought- i really don't like the aftertaste of coke. it's like, i want to drink it, then the taste should be gone once i'm finished with the drink.

so, tonight, was a monumental stepping stone in my life. why? I GOT MY FIRST CARRR :D to be honest, i'm so nervous about driving it once i get my license. it's so cute that i don't want to wreck it. ha, and knowing me. i will wreck sooner or later. just don't tell my parents that. :p but ANYWAYS! i don't get my license until, well march? but my dad thought this was a really good deal, and it's a toyota which seem to be really reliable? so. we went ahead and got it. it's the same one that i showed a picture of on my last blog (or it may have been the blog before that). sorry, don't remember exactly? but YAYAYAYAYAY it's so cute. i loveee it. and, it's the perfect size, is really cozy, and driving/parking it is sooo easy. i love the steering wheel. ha, it's the opposite of driving the freaking HUGE escalade.

i'll try to cover what i haven't wrote about. monday night, the football game, was fun. :) all of my friends & me kind of sit in the copas crazies section, i don't even know if you could call it that, but on the end of it at least? it's fun. football games are always the freaking shiznit. i spent the night with amy that night. ha, i was so tired by the end of the night that i couldn't help her on her algebra 1 part A homework. today at school, i had a pretty good day. i watched a move in civics, still worked on shapes in art (and am getting A WHOLE LOT better, SCORE!), discussed les mis in english, & did a quiz and like nothing else in spanish.

then, obviously, tonight i was gone for most of the evening. the dealership was like an hour away. so we went up there around like 5, got there at 6. didn't get home until like 9:15. it took longer than we imagined. because one of the locks or something is broken? ha. it's definitely used. but HEY that's okay. it's still SO cute. :) and i'm definitely excited about thattttttttttt. which is making me in a super good mood right now.

love life wise, umm. football games equals hanging out with friends, which means flirting, which means, uhh. i kind of "rekindled," if you want to call it that, feelings for a guy. i try not to use names & such on these kind of things, because that will cause nothing but DRAMA. but uhh, what's new? i'll always have feelings for this guy. but i really have no idea what to do. so right now, we're just keeping it kind of chill. not dating, not even really talking. just, like, idk. putting a relationship on postpone until further notice i guess you could say? so we'll see where that goes. :D plus i still kinda like two other guys. bahahaha.

play that funky music white boyyyy.

so, wow i had one heck of a weekend. :) lemme share it with ya, as if you actually care! kay thanks.

friday- i had a really good day at school. i know i say this in every blog, but i LOVE civics. we do like nothing in there. but MEREDITH WILSON made me say the founding father of America was Abraham Lincoln! hahaha. :) art is surprising me even more. ha, spheres & working on our greyscale stuff was pretty cool. and michelle got moved to our table, so i have someone to talk to now. YAY. ha. english was okay, but grammar is NOT clicking with me anymore. last year, mr. woods was really good at explaining it, but friday i did NOT get it. haha. but oh well. hopefully it'll come back to me some? me and finley CRACKED upppp in spanish. hahah, long storyy.
after school, of course it was supposed to be the first friday night football game. :O but thanks to lightning and rain, it got canceled. we ended up going to buffalo's, which was fun. :) ha YUM i love their wings. i just went home that night. oh yeah and stephen randomly came home? he just showed up at our door friday night. ha, it's pretty obvious he wanted to see allison. haha, but it was still nice to see him. it made it feel a little more like he was actually still on this planet. he thinks college is boring so far. i can tell it's been a little bit of a disappointment to him. hopefully he'll start to like it more? guess it's just a big change to adjust to.

saturday- it felt amazingly wonderful to sleep in again. i did nothing until the afternoon. then i went & got a snazzy pedicure with my mommy at future nails. ha, the people in there know us now we go so often. but anyways, she wanted nice-looking toes for vegas. yes, my mom goes to vegas to see barry manilow quite religously. get over it. :p then we stopped at jason's deli to get me some food, & at molly malone's. i love that little cute store. check it out. it has CUTE purses & jewelry. and shoes sometimes. i went to ashley's after that. i honestly don't even remember what we did for a while? haha. we just hung out i guess. later that night, her dad had all these guys from their neighborhood over for the UFC fight, so jake bechtol came over, since his dad did. :) oh and amy did too. so us 4 hung out in ashley's room for like EVER. haha and we gave jake a stripper tattoo. hahaha. then we had a dancing party in their living room with jake's drunk dad. it was a blastttt, i'm not gonna lie.

sunday- woke up at ashley's, hung out and did nothing. came home, and have been EXHAUSTED because of last night. i've taken like 4 naps. haha. but YAY good news. my dad found me a car that he thinks is a really good deal. :) i'm so excited. it's a Toyota Rav 4. and it's like a metallicy blue color. i'll get a picture of it..
Photobucket
and i think me & dad are going to look at it tuesday after school. SCORE. :D

tomorrow night, i'm excited for the home game (it got rescheduled to then). even though since it's a monday, it won't be the same, it'll still be fun. :)

overall concincus?
school's going great. i love my life right now. except my love life is still nonexistant. fml.

write laterrrr.
